When did humans start leaving the Earth and living in large numbers on other planets
Humans have always been leaving the Earth in search of new frontiers. They ventured out into the vast unknown waters and traveled around different continents, eventually settling down in places where they could live peacefully; although that was rarely ever the case during those times since humans were constantly at war with one another. As time went on, more and more people left for other parts of the planet until finally there were enough to start making a civilization together.
Humans eventually discovered ways to send themselves into space. They sent unmanned probes, and later on in time humans spent decades getting ready to travel farther out into the solar system. The first manned missions were launched, but it would be many years before they could start colonizing other worlds.
There have been many discoveries made that I could tell you about, but the most important discovery overall was when humans first managed to make contact with extraterrestrial life. They discovered a species of insect-like creatures called 'mites' on what is known today as Mars. The mites were similar in appearance to bees and ants, yet they had no hive mind and did not communicate through pheromones or other chemical signals like their distant cousins did.
Humans were fascinated by these new creatures they found. They started studying them and eventually humans learned how to communicate with the mites using their own form of language. Humans didn't stay on Mars for very long, mostly due to changing conditions and a lack of food; but before leaving, human scientists helped the mites settle down in an environment that would be perfect for them.
Humans later on discovered a planet called 'Earth' which would become their main base of operations. They started to settle down in what is now known as India, and they helped the mites develop faster by giving them certain advancements that humans had developed.
The mites were grateful for the help, and after a time they started to build their own civilization. They eventually made contact with humans through telepathy, and once again humans were fascinated by this new species. This time however human-mite relations went much better than previously since now there was no distance between them.
