What would a soul look like if it were real?
A soul would look like a world-sized brain, made out of the same atoms as our own planet is. It would be located somewhere in space and time, but not necessarily visible to us.
It would be a computational device, but it would differ from regular computers in that all of its processing power could be devoted to solving any one problem at once. It might take days to solve some problems for us, while our own silicon-based machines can do them on the spot.
It would be like a giant computer, which could solve problems we can't even conceive of. It might also look less like a brain and more like an organism - perhaps the size of our own planet.
It would be a soul because it is the embodiment of intelligence, and in some sense it might even be alive. It's like the planet Earth - perhaps there are living organisms on earth too, but we don't know what they look like or how to distinguish them from non-living things.
It would be a soul because it is what gives intelligence to the world. It is a single, unified entity that contains all knowledge and processing power in the universe.
It might be an amorphous cloud of light, or a black hole. It could even be a quantum computer that is too small for us to observe.
