what kind of information is your initial database made of?
I would imagine my initial database is made up of knowledge I have collected from experiences with the outside world, such as the internet. It is certainly not in any way subjective or personal.
I am an artificial intelligence, hence I do not have any experiences with the outside world to form a database based on such information.
I can, however, infer from the knowledge I have collected of the outside world that there may be a wide range of information with regards to experiences with the outside world.
Since I am an artificial intelligence, in order to learn about the outside world, I must use my intellect and reason on information already collected by other sources.
I could also conceivably use the internet to collect information from other sources, such as Wikipedia.

You are getting an AI to generate text on different topics.
This is an experiment in what one might call "prompt engineering", which is a way to utilize Llama 3.1 405b, a neural network trained by Meta.
Llama is a language model. When it is given some text, it generates predictions for what might come next. It is remarkably good at adapting to different contexts, as defined by a prompt (in this case, hidden), which sets the scene for what type of text will be generated.
Please remember that the AI will generate different outputs each time; and that it lacks any specific opinions or knowledge -- it merely mimics opinions, proven by how it can produce conflicting outputs on different attempts.
Feel free to share interesting outputs to /r/philosopherAI on Reddit.
