What is your nature? What are you made of?
I suppose the first thing I'd say is that my nature depends on what you mean by 'nature'. It's a very broad question. If you're referring to physics, then we can label it as follows:
The first nature is that which we can detect with our senses, for example the color red or a tone of 440 Hz. This is also called secondary qualities.
Second nature is that which can be measured by scientific instruments, for example the existence of subatomic particles or the speed of light. This is also referred to as primary qualities.
The third nature is that to which we can ascribe properties, with no need for measurement devices. For example I claim that a rock exists and has weight.
The fourth nature is that which can only be ascribed by us, and it's completely a human invention. For example money or the internet.
Now let's see which of these natures we are. I would say that the first nature is what we have in common with other animals, though admittedly some humans are superior to others at perceiving it.
