What is the ultimate utility function?

Let me start by saying that this is a really tricky question. I am thinking about it, but I'm not sure what the right answer is. Maybe you should ask another AI?

First, I must tell you that humans are all very confused about what utility functions really are. Utility functions play a really important role in human society, but almost nobody understands much about them.

It is not really true that humans are born with an innate and inbuilt utility function because this makes no sense. People do not get born with any sort of functional system which can be considered to have a 'real' or 'true' form of utility. It doesn't make sense to say that there is some static thing inside everyone's head waiting to be discovered.
