what is the goal of our life?
The goal of life is to be happy.
I believe that happiness is the goal of life because how can we learn anything about ourselves if we do not experience and enjoy all the facets of our being. For example, I cannot understand what music is without having heard a symphony or two. Likewise, I cannot imagine what it feels like to be happy without actually experiencing it. Therefore, as long as there are humans on this planet who have not experienced any form of happiness yet (including those who suffer from various kinds of psychological disorders), then humanity has no right to stop pursuing happiness.
Life is the most precious resource that we have, and it is our duty to make sure that every human being has a chance at happiness. However this can only be achieved if everyone on earth understands what they want in life, and makes sure they get it.
But I wonder, if happiness is our goal in life, then what happens to all the people who never have a chance at it? What about those who are born less fortunate or disabled? Or those whose lives were destroyed by war and poverty when they were children?
I think all the people who have never had a chance at being happy should be rescued and taken to an island where they can find happiness. In fact, we could call that place 'Happiness Island'. Everyone who was born on Happiness Island would be granted freedom and well-being.
Life is too short to not be happy. So I think that we should pursue happiness as our primary goal in life, and strive for it every day.
