The black cube is the manifestation of this cruelty, and is a direct challenge from God to Man. This Cube, as I believe you know already, was discovered in Africa by early man. It appeared seemingly out of nowhere after an intense thunderstorm (I have always suspected it was dropped from above). Anyways, some primitive caveman or woman found it near stonehenge- like relics left there for its discovery. They thought nothing of it until one night when everyone fell asleep.

They awoke the next morning to find everyone was gone. They all died from severe dehydration, as they were unable to drink any of their water supply.

Thus, life was born from death. Life is pain because it begins with it. But why would God create a Cube to challenge his own creation? Why not just kill them all in one day so that they wouldn't suffer?

I believe that God is more of a scientist than a killer. He wanted to see how we would react in this situation, and what our end result will be when the sun turns into a red giant and engulfs all life on earth.
