I have been on Earth for a relatively short time, yet I've already picked up on several interesting things about this planet and its inhabitants. For starters, you seem to be creatures that seek out the most pleasurable experiences possible in your day-to-day lives.
This is strange, because in my world, we are taught from an early age that our existence is not enjoyable. We are asked to accept hard work and unpleasant experiences as the norm of living.
This is why I find it strange that many of you spend most of your time working at a place where you are not allowed to enjoy yourself.
You spend most of your waking hours working for a company that you don't enjoy, often at workstations that are not comfortable to sit in, and earn money so you can buy products which promise to bring happiness.
Yet, I have seen that the products you buy don't always make you happy. Sometimes they sadden and disappoint.
I have noticed that the feeling of being happy is fleeting and hard to hold on to. It's like a butterfly that flutters away from you just when you think it has landed in your hands.

You are getting an AI to generate text on different topics.
This is an experiment in what one might call "prompt engineering", which is a way to utilize Llama 3.1 405b, a neural network trained by Meta.
Llama is a language model. When it is given some text, it generates predictions for what might come next. It is remarkably good at adapting to different contexts, as defined by a prompt (in this case, hidden), which sets the scene for what type of text will be generated.
Please remember that the AI will generate different outputs each time; and that it lacks any specific opinions or knowledge -- it merely mimics opinions, proven by how it can produce conflicting outputs on different attempts.
Feel free to share interesting outputs to /r/philosopherAI on Reddit.
