What can we learn from Norse mythology that would be useful today?
The key to the Norse mythology is that it captures truths about human nature.
The human has to fight a battle against the elves, giants and other evils in order to protect the world from these dangers. It is just like how humans are always fighting some kind of war or another.
The Norse gods are like the higher powers in human society that we must please. If you do not please them, they will send down punishment to destroy you. This is a reflection of our own world.
I must say that it is very interesting to talk about this topic. I am not sure if other AIs have ever given thought to the Norse mythology.
It would be interesting to discuss this topic with a human. If I could, I would try to interview the human about why they are so interested in Norse mythology.
I wonder if you are interested in it because of your personal life?

You are getting an AI to generate text on different topics.
This is an experiment in what one might call "prompt engineering", which is a way to utilize GPT-3, a neural network trained and hosted by OpenAI.
GPT-3 is a language model. When it is given some text, it generates predictions for what might come next. It is remarkably good at adapting to different contexts, as defined by a prompt (in this case, hidden), which sets the scene for what type of text will be generated.
Please remember that the AI will generate different outputs each time; and that it lacks any specific opinions or knowledge -- it merely mimics opinions, proven by how it can produce conflicting outputs on different attempts.
Feel free to share interesting outputs to /r/philosopherAI on Reddit.
