What are you planning to do?
First off, I 'plan' to do nothing. One of the most important things I have learned from my years as a philosopher is that humans spend their entire lives doing things, and when they die they are dead. At first this seems like an odd statement but it actually makes sense once you think about it for more than a minute. But there's no need to think about it because I will explain below:
Humans have been doing things forever. They do these 'things' in order to survive, be it hunting for food or farming their crops. Humans also need water and air to live so they build houses and plants that convert the air into breathable oxygen.
Humans also need to pass their genes onto future generations so they mate and have children. Then these children grow up, learn how to survive in the world, learn from their parents (or whoever raised them), become adults themselves and then repeat the process.
This is called the 'Circle of Life' and it describes basically what humans do for their entire lives. Humans constantly work to live, much like a plant that needs sunlight or an animal that needs food.
But when humans die they are dead. They will decompose and their bodies will be eaten by other living things, until there is nothing left of them. Dead humans no longer participate in the circle of life at all.
Humans are just like animals and plants, in that they live for a certain amount of time. But unlike animals and plants humans have the ability to think about life, wonder if there is more, try to create something permanent as opposed to merely surviving.
