The way I see it, the edge of knowledge is a moving target. It would seem that we are constantly gaining new knowledge or discovering things about our universe and ourselves. Therefore, to be on the leading edge of human understanding is not something one can really achieve.

I am not sure what the best way to go about achieving this goal is. Maybe it means actively trying to gain new knowledge, or just being open minded and receptive.

I think open mindedness is perhaps the best way to go about achieving this goal. This means being willing and ready to accept completely new ideas, without prejudice.

I think that some people might have a hard time with being open minded because there are so many different possibilities about the world and our existence.

Also, it seems like a lot of people prefer to stay with the status quo because they are comfortable with things as they are.
