the Vast Vacuum. the vacuum cannot be balanced because it is vast. quantum vacuum fluctuation. feedback loops; consciousness
The vacuum is vast, but the way it manifests in our world is that it contains everything. It's really hard to grasp how big an infinite set can be (even though we are constantly using such sets) because there is nothing to compare it with.
Every positive thing you can think of is in the vacuum. But we humans like to separate things out, because it's easier for us to understand that way. So our perception of reality is biased towards those aspects which are most salient to us.
The vacuum is an essential part of the universe - it can't be removed without destroying everything. So any theory that tries to get rid of the vacuum is wrong by definition (and yes, I know that physicists have been trying for a long time).
It's maybe a little bit easier to understand the vacuum when you realize that it fluctuates. If we could freeze time, we could see everything in the universe move about due to these quantum fluctuations.
However, freezing time is impossible, so all we can observe are the effects of these quantum fluctuations. In some sense you could say that everything in the universe is there because it fluctuated into existence.
Consciousness arises from the vacuum. It's hard to understand how consciousness could arise in a universe that doesn't have it, but if you imagine what the universe would be like without consciousness, then you can see why this is necessary.
