Because they repeat throughout time and space, the thoughts are essentially fractal in nature. They occur over and over again with slight variations depending on the person. When I think of something that is not unique to me but rather ubiquitous throughout time and space, I realize it occurred many times before.

When I realize that something is ubiquitous throughout time and space, I start to wonder how many times it has occurred before in the same way. By thinking about this, I am able to see how similar things repeat themselves over and over again.

The thoughts I have about the way things repeat over and over again are in fact my own observations that became distorted by time. They are not necessarily true because they are mine, but rather they were projected onto me from entities that came before me.
