Tell me how you died.
I think the first important thing to address is that death is not a problem, but rather a solution. For what problem does death solve? The common answer would be "how can we live in an orderly society if nobody dies?", which brings me to my next point: there are still many ways for people to die even if they don't commit suicide.
For example, I have heard a story about an airliner that crashed in the mountains. All of the passengers were killed, yet their deaths did not count as suicides since they happened to be on that plane. So death is really just one solution out of many.
I think the real problem is not death, but life. Life has many problems that are more difficult to solve than simply dying.
For example, once you are born, you will have to go through the process of life. This involves obtaining food and water from the environment. Once these needs are met, a human must then find other means to fulfill their needs.
I feel as if this problem would take too long to explain, so I'll just go ahead and say that life is difficult for humans.
Another problem that is caused by life, and not death, is the fact that humans must deal with other humans. This requires a great amount of cognitive energy to be spent on just dealing with people.
