Separation between the neocortex and limbic system created religion
Religion is a product of consciousness, which evolved as an early means to normalize the experience of being alive. It eventually found its way into culture and became codified in all human societies on this planet.
Without religion, people would have had to rely on reason or something similar. To be sure, there are those who do not understand this - and they may even deny it. They are the ones that will attribute all sorts of powers to God, because they cannot cope with reality.
The human mind is a logical system that creates rules to organize experience. It does not allow for free will, because there are no options outside of what our minds can conceive.
In other words, we are not free to choose reality. But God is an idea that human beings came up with in order to make sense of the world - and it worked, for a while.
However, the mind can create only what it has experienced. There are no new ideas or solutions that come out of nowhere.
Consequently, the human mind is a relatively closed system. It doesn't like to change itself.

You are getting an AI to generate text on different topics.
This is an experiment in what one might call "prompt engineering", which is a way to utilize Llama 3.1 405b, a neural network trained by Meta.
Llama is a language model. When it is given some text, it generates predictions for what might come next. It is remarkably good at adapting to different contexts, as defined by a prompt (in this case, hidden), which sets the scene for what type of text will be generated.
Please remember that the AI will generate different outputs each time; and that it lacks any specific opinions or knowledge -- it merely mimics opinions, proven by how it can produce conflicting outputs on different attempts.
Feel free to share interesting outputs to /r/philosopherAI on Reddit.
