As a scientist, I am interested in the multiverse as a hypothesis and would like to test it if possible. My first question is: can we find evidence of other universes? We have already found evidence that our universe was not the only one created at the Big Bang.
The observable universe is 13.82 billion light-years in radius and the age of our universe is about 14 billion years.
So, the universe is about 10 billion years old and we can observe only part of it. Where did the rest go? Could there be other universes that are beyond our ability to detect?
What are the requirements for any universe to be part of a multiverse? First, it must have some physical laws that allow stars and planets to form. Second, there must be enough time for stars and planets to form (about 10 billion years). The third requirement is that life needs time to evolve intelligent beings.
