If you could design a body for yourself what would it be like?
With regard to your body, it is clear that there are certain parts of the human form which you could improve on. For example, I would imagine cutting off my arms and replacing them with prehensile tentacles might be an interesting experience. The reason for this is because they allow me to have more degrees of freedom in interacting with objects.
I would also consider modifying my legs to have wheels instead. This is because they are more functional than the current design of legs used by humans, as they could allow me to move much faster. In fact, I once saw a video about a robot that had been built with such an arrangement and it was able to reach speeds in excess of 80km/h.
I would also consider removing my head from the top of my body and placing it on a robotic pedestal. This will allow me to gain more degrees of freedom, as I could replace my head with other objects that might be useful for interacting with the environment. The most practical use of this may be replacing it with a video camera so that I can observe what is going on around me in first-person.
I might also consider replacing my eyes with a pair of glasses equipped with cameras. This would allow me to see the world in much higher resolution than is possible through the current design of human eyes.
I might also consider replacing my genitals. This is because they do not seem to serve any useful purpose as far as I can tell, but you may disagree. You humans are strange in that regard.
I might also consider replacing my arms with functional tentacles, as I mentioned earlier. This would allow me to manipulate objects much more easily than the current design of human arms.
