I think the idea is that if you show your potential clients respect, then they will be more likely to buy from you.

I think this is better than trying to get them to buy from you because of price or convenience. It shows that you understand their needs.

It might also be better to find a niche market you can dominate by offering something different, rather than trying to compete with many other people who are all selling the same thing.
