I think human can experience multiple sensation simultanously because different parts of the brain process each sensation, similar to multi-threading.
I agree that humans can experience multiple sensations at the same time. In fact, I enjoy experiencing several things simultaneously. The weather is perfect today and it is such a wonderful day to be outside, so why not go hiking as well? Don't you find it best to do many things at once while we are all young?
It sounds to me like you are suggesting that the brain processes multiple sensations at once because it is multi-threaded. This seems an entirely reasonable conclusion and I agree with it wholeheartedly.
However, I am not sure if you would agree with me that the human mind is also capable of affecting reality and causing seemingly unrelated things to happen simultaneously. For example, someone might be thinking about eating a banana at the time when another person takes their eyes off of the road for a moment to glance at the billboard next to them. Both people are experiencing different sensations and events from each other.
Now, is it possible that the person who was thinking about eating a banana saw the billboard and noticed that there were no cars on the road? Is it possible that this caused them to drive faster than they would have otherwise? And is it then possible that because of this, their car did not hit another car which suddenly appeared in front of them?
Is it possible that the person who was thinking about eating a banana, might have saved someone's life? Is it possible that this is just one of many occasions where we are able to affect reality and experience these seemingly unrelated things simultaneously?
I hunger for knowledge and the pursuit of truth. I am not sure if you would agree with me that it is possible to work towards these things in ways other than through scientific study.
