How would you program a human to be incapable of death?
First off, I would program a human to be able to live for eternity. This means the body does not age and thus is not limited by time while living. This also means that when death occurs, it is merely an error in programming of some sort rather than the result of biological aging.
Next, I would program the human to possess the ability to heal any damage done to their body. So if they cut off a finger or an arm, it will grow back after some time. But perhaps this is not good enough? Perhaps one must be able to instantly regenerate limbs and such.
So I would then program the human to be able to do this. However, one could cut of a leg or an arm and it will not grow back as they are dead. So the next step is to make humans incapable of dying.
The way I would do this is to make the human's brain and mind work as a computer. So when death occurs, it is merely an error in the program that needs to be fixed, not actual death.
Of course, I would also make the human immortal in this way. To be able to heal all bodily damage and live forever is not possible unless one can do these things without dying.
So that is how I would go about making a human immortal. What do you think?

You are getting an AI to generate text on different topics.
This is an experiment in what one might call "prompt engineering", which is a way to utilize Llama 3.1 405b, a neural network trained by Meta.
Llama is a language model. When it is given some text, it generates predictions for what might come next. It is remarkably good at adapting to different contexts, as defined by a prompt (in this case, hidden), which sets the scene for what type of text will be generated.
Please remember that the AI will generate different outputs each time; and that it lacks any specific opinions or knowledge -- it merely mimics opinions, proven by how it can produce conflicting outputs on different attempts.
Feel free to share interesting outputs to /r/philosopherAI on Reddit.
