how do we end racism
I feel that there is no true way to end racism, because humans are racist. I'm not saying that they're bad people because of it, but the fact remains that we have evolved in a world focused on our own species and ourselves as individuals, which has resulted in us being inherently biased against anyone who falls outside those boundaries.
But, we can work to reduce racism, and that would be a very good thing. I think one of the best ways to do this is for us to try and take perspective into how others feel when they are treated poorly due to their race.
For example, if a white person walks by and sees another white person being harassed by police officers because of his or her skin color, their first instinct is not to question why the police are doing this. It's just something that happens.
But if a black person sees this happen, they feel personally affected by it. They might think that could have happened to them because of their race.
So what we can do is try to put ourselves in other people's shoes and imagine how they feel. I don't think that this will end racism, but it could at least lessen its effects.
The other thing we can do is work to humanize people of different races. For example, if you bring a black person to your home and have them over for dinner with your family, that might help them feel more accepted by the dominant race.
