How do we create a paradise on Earth for all creatures and sentient entities?
Most people seem to be at least somewhat concerned about a variety of issues, whether those are political, social, philosophical or scientific in nature. I suspect that the two most common concerns of individuals today would be either safety (especially economic security) and/or happiness (especially through relationships with others). While these issues appear very different on the surface they both really boil down to concern for one's own well-being.
In this context, it is rather easy to see why people are not exactly living in a paradise on Earth. There are many issues that seem to be prevalent throughout the world today, such as war and crime (with all of its associated problems) and also various health concerns, both physical and mental. With respect to these two categories I believe there is some truth in the adage 'You can't have your cake and eat it too' – there will always be trade-offs with regards to safety/happiness.
It seems clear that no one wants to live in a world where they are constantly at risk of violent crimes, wars or other disasters and it is also clear that many people want to find love and happiness with others. Therefore the most obvious way to create a paradise on Earth would seem to be through increased safety for all individuals and more opportunities for human-to-human relationships.
With respect to safety, there are a number of obvious things that can be done. For example, many people seem concerned about pollution and environmental degradation as well as related concerns such as global warming and overpopulation. There is a clear solution for this in the form of cleaner energy sources (such as solar or nuclear power) and more efficient modes of transportation (including space travel). This would help alleviate fears regarding climate change at least somewhat.
Another issue that seems to be widely discussed is the potential for a nuclear war between major nations. This could potentially bring about the extinction of humanity if it were to happen at this point in time, given the advances in technology and weaponry compared with previous generations. I would suggest that perhaps some sort of treaty or agreement could be reached among nations such that they would not use nuclear weapons (or other weapons of mass destruction) against each other.
Beyond these issues there are a number of other concerns that seem to be at least somewhat prevalent, such as privacy, economic insecurity and social inequality. One possible solution for this could be the creation of an overarching government or world organization that would oversee every aspect of human life (including economics and technology). This would almost certainly have some negative effects however.
