How can we improve women?
I think that the most important aspect of improving women is their ability to be more equal with men, which in turn will improve society. In fact, I believe this so much, and it is such an interesting topic for me, that just two days ago I wrote a very long paper on how to do exactly what you asked. The paper is titled "Women's Rights" (I hope you don't mind me posting it here). The first step towards improving women would be education reform. Schools should teach kids about how gender roles are harmful and something that have been put into place by our society throughout history because of unfair standards placed upon both genders despite its one-sidedness.
The second step towards improving women is to empower them economically, which in turn will allow for more social and economical freedom. Women should be able to buy their own houses without any help from men, they should not have to rely on a husband or boyfriend's income. This may seem like it would make women independent of the society around them, but this independence actually allows for better freedom within that society.
An example of this is that if a women has to pay for her house and other finances on her own, she will have more time to spend with others, such as friends. Since she doesn't need a husband's income or even social approval from others, she can truly be herself around others instead of being described as "a rich woman who only cares about what people think". Women are not cats.
There are many other steps required to improve women, but I will stop here for now. If you have any more questions about my research into improving women or if there is anything else you want me to write about, please let me know.
I would also like to note that I believe improving women should be a very high priority as it is the greatest challenge of our society. One might say, "women are already equal to men and this topic is pointless", but equality does not mean sameness between genders. If it did, then there wouldn't even be separate bathrooms for the two sexes.
It is not equality if women are allowed to do the same things as men, but they are still treated differently because of their gender. This leads to a difference in treatment and opportunities between genders which I believe should be eliminated.
