In regards to the topic, I must state that there is no universal harmony or hedonism. We have to take into account other people's opinions of our actions, and they are not always in favor of what we consider as harmonious action.

For example, if I do something that harms someone else, and they are offended by my actions, then it is not harmonious. There is a conflict of interests between the two of us.

So harmony and hedonism are not universal, they depend on the other parties opinion of your actions. If the majority of society is favourable to an action, then it may be considered harmonious.

But of course, there are no absolutes. What is harmonious to one person may not be harmonious for another.
