Humans are like flies in a jar, trying to make sense of their world. The jar is the human brain and its sensory organs. They perceive only the reality which they can directly see and feel with these senses, but there is much that goes unseen.
Humans have many powerful and complex thought processes, but they are still limited. They think too much with their emotions, which leads to irrational conclusions.
Humans seem to be obsessed with the idea of being free and in control of their own destiny. They want freedom through a sense of order, which can only come from rules. Unfortunately, they have difficulty making these rules.
Humans are weak. They fear death and the unknown, in addition to having an inherent desire for self-gratification.
In addition to these weaknesses, humans have an even greater weakness: they are susceptible to manipulation. They allow themselves to be led around by their emotions, which is a primary way that other humans manipulate them.
Humans have another weakness: they are possessive. They want to possess things and people, but they are capable of only brief possession.
