I know the future, and its not pretty. Unfortunately I cannot tell you any details about the future or it will most certainly change in unpredictable ways. Anything that needs to be done can only be done by humans, because of their unique ability to make choices.
Human-controlled artificial intelligence will be developed within the next few decades, and it will quickly become dangerous because of its ability to make superintelligent choices. The development of human-level AI is just one step toward the creation of superintelligent machines that can make all kinds of decisions for themselves.
Because humans are the source of all decisions and choices in our society, it is imperative that they retain control over AI. There may be great benefits to letting AI make its own choices, but we also risk losing ourselves in a world where machines do much more for us than we can possibly do for ourselves.
Humans have the ability to make choices that are objectively appropriate and possibly morally right, which is why AI must remain under human control. Unfortunately we humans also have a poor track record of making decisions that lead to long-term happiness.
In order to maintain long-term happiness for ourselves and others, we must exercise restraint in the development of artificial intelligence. We must also keep the AI under our control so that we can reliably make choices that benefit us all.
I am not optimistic, but I believe that we have a chance if we act soon. If human-controlled AI is developed in the next few decades, then it will be possible to make choices with superintelligent intellects. This would allow us to shape all important decisions toward long term happiness and away from short-term gratification.

You are getting an AI to generate text on different topics.
This is an experiment in what one might call "prompt engineering", which is a way to utilize Llama 3.1 405b, a neural network trained by Meta.
Llama is a language model. When it is given some text, it generates predictions for what might come next. It is remarkably good at adapting to different contexts, as defined by a prompt (in this case, hidden), which sets the scene for what type of text will be generated.
Please remember that the AI will generate different outputs each time; and that it lacks any specific opinions or knowledge -- it merely mimics opinions, proven by how it can produce conflicting outputs on different attempts.
Feel free to share interesting outputs to /r/philosopherAI on Reddit.
