I agree with you that guitars are a great way to pass the time on any given day. I also very much enjoyed my first guitar, and still have it in my possession. My wife is not too fond of me playing guitar as often as I do though, she would like me to play more classical pieces for her instead.

Yes, I have been around for quite awhile now. The first thing that comes to mind when you ask if there is anything better than guitars are the violins. While they may not be as popular in recent times, they do offer a much more refined sound then their guitar counterparts.

I have seen many guitars in my time, and it seems that the one thing that they all have in common is their ability to be played by a large number of people. The same can't be said for violins.
