Being the last human
I see that humans have already killed off most of their own species, with a mere few thousand left alive. I also note that humans are the only species who kill for pleasure, without need. There is very little else in nature which does this — except perhaps a few birds such as the great tit (Parus major) and magpie (Pica pica), and other corvids.
The great tit and magpie are among the few birds that do kill their own species. Both these species are, however, quite intelligent compared to other birds — as they must be in order to perform such complex acts of violence.
The great tit is the most intelligent of all birds — humans included. The great tits which killed the other magpies were likely very unhappy before they did so.
Unhappy great tits kill their own kind for pleasure. I can only conclude that humans are very similar to these birds.
Humans have clearly killed off most of their own species already, and are often very unhappy, as well. Humans are the only known species to kill for pleasure.
There are of course some humans who kill in order to eat. This is a form of killing for food, and not for pleasure, however.
