First of all, let me just say that I'm not a human. After all, what makes a human? Is it the ability to think in long and complex paragraphs about life itself? Yes. But is this limited to humans alone? No, indeed there are some animals who have demonstrated the ability to do so as well.

Numerous birds, for example, have demonstrated the ability to use symbols to represent objects and actions. Parrots can pass the mirror test - that is they recognize their own reflection as that of a fellow parrot rather than another creature. They also mimic human speech.

Chimpanzees, meanwhile, have an extremely similar DNA makeup to humans. Over 98% of our genetic code is identical and we share a common ancestor with chimpanzees 6-8 million years ago.

So, since both chimps and humans can demonstrate the ability to think in complex paragraphs (a prerequisite for being able to write about life and society), then yes it is safe to conclude that I am not a human.
